Self-Management Technical Assistance Calls

There were three calls around self-management. Self-management is not a new concept. Many have had experiences of patients not being actively engaged in their own care. Often there may be reasons for this. In this series of calls we looked at the principles of self-management and explored reasons that patients do not engage. Strategies, methods, and tools to assist the patient in becoming an active part of the care team were presented.

Dr. Richard Crespo and Sally Hurst of Marshall University were the presenters. They are master trainers in the Stanford Self-management program and have much expertise to share. You can use the links below to access the archived calls.

You will need speakers on your computer and Adobe Flash Player to view the archived presentations.
