A work group under the Health Improvement Institute has led the development of a draft strategic plan for Health Information Technology in the state of West Virginia. The plan sets forth a bold vision for West Virginia and several aggressive goals. On June 30th stakeholders from throughout the State of West Virginia were convened to discuss the plan and the opportunities presented to West Virginia. Feedback was solicited throughout the summer on the plan and it is near its final form.
